Keeper of the Dream Scholarship
The "Keeper of the Dream" Scholarship was established to increase SUNY Fredonia's recruitment, retention and graduation rate of students in general, and particularly underrepresented racial and ethnic groups - African American, Latino/a, Asian American and Native American. The scholarship program is structured to nurture students with strong academic records through the transition to college, the development of leadership skills and career exploration. Additionally, the program stresses student leadership and a commitment to cultural pluralism.

Rosa Parks Scholarship Competition
The Rosa Parks Scholarship Competition was designed to give students an opportunity to make their statements, or to voice their opinions on the subject of cultural pluralism in any way they wish. Established in 1989 by Dr. Vivian Garcia Conover, Associate Dean of General Studies and Director of Academic Advising, this competition has undergone considerable growth. Many students have presented their works to the Fredonia community through this competition. This scholarship is funded through FSA and organized by our office.
